The Bible defines very crearly what is a true prophesy, coming from the highest spheres of God, and how the prophet behaves when he is in a true prophetic state. That state is defined as follows:
1. The prophet has open eyes
2. He has no breath whatsoever, even for a prolonged period of time
3. He is strengthened
The modern day “prophesies” are done as a result of meditation, and as a rule are done with
1. closed eyes
2. the person still breathes although his breath might be very shallow
3. he/she is weakened, often prostrated on the floor or bed.
This type of a prophesy, according to the Bible, does not come from God and should not be trusted.
